Chart: The iPhone 6 – Lots of People Are Getting Ready to Upgrade

iPhone 6

iPhone users are not finding their current devices (iPhone) as useful and are planning to dump it when Apple comes up with the newer version. This is what has been revealed by a recent survey conducted by the Com-score, and mentions that around 46% of the iPhone 3G and 3Gs users are ready to replace their old handsets for a new one which should be more vibrant, embedded with more innovations, and quicker than their previous iPhone. We don’t even know what the upcoming versions would be known, as iPhone 6 or would be named something else.

The survey also came up with the figures that around 43% of the iPhone 4 and upto 40% of the iPhone 4S users will replace their devices the moment Apple launches its new product. Experts believe that this is obvious keeping in view that users always go for a new, better and quick version when a new product is launched. The views of iPhone users is in the same league, and they desire a more quick and vibrant version of iPhone, which would come up in some time.

The iPhone users of the newer versions do not feel the need to replace their devices yet, the data from Com-score survey reflects. They are still comfortable with their handheld devices, and feel that the upcoming product would not be too different from what they are having right now. Only around 36% of the iPhone 5 believe they need to replace their iPhone for the upcoming Apple product. On the other hand, just 24% of iPhone series 5S feel the need to dump their current phones for a new version of iPhone which is yet to be launched by Apple. The lowest number of ‘want to replace my iPhone’ is of the iPhone 5C users; with as low as 15% users wish to buy the upcoming product from Apple to replace their existing iPhone 5C.

The most common reason for replacing the iPhone they were using and to buy the upcoming one from Apple was that they were not happy with the speed of their devices. They felt it too slow and is not worth carrying along. They feel the upcoming version could solve their problem as Apple has kept it prime focus on the speed offered by the device. The next reason for dumping their older iPhone is that the older iPhone, especially the iPhone 3G/3Gs, iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S; are not colorful and eye-catchy enough to carry it around. The upcoming product is expected to be a lot more vibrant and attractive than the previous devices. Another major hindrance which iPhone users felt with their iPhone was that it was way behind the modern times in terms of features. The next Apple product is expected to have a lot more innovative with additional features which would make it a great and vibrant product to use!
