Chinese Telecom Companies have already allowed the customers to pre-order iPhone 6 prior to its unveiling. This comes just days after China Mobile, the country’s largest mobile carrier, also revealed it will be accepting pre-orders for the iPhone 6.
More fascinatingly, Chinese Telecom’s pre-order page reveals a few important details about what to expect from iPhone 6. First, the images of the phone appear to be constant with all the leaks we’ve already seen. The similar curved edges, remodelled buttons, and larger design that are circulated around the web for months are present here.
The phone is also predicted to be available in black, silver, and gold colour alternatives just like the iPhone 5s. Those who try to pre-order the phone have the option to select between a 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch model, intimating that Apple could reveal both size options on Sept. 9.
The pre-order page also showed iPhone 6 will come with an “improved” Touch ID home button, a 3-megapixel front camera, and a sharper display packing of 416 pixels per inch. Unsurprisingly, it also lists Apple’s imminent A8 processor along with these other features.
Chinese Telecom companies didn’t list a price though, but ZDNet also marked a leaked photograph from another key Chinese carrier that unveils how much iPhone 6’s price would be. The reportedly leaked photo from China Unicom suggested the slighter small-sized iPhone could cost nearly $861, while the bigger 5.5-inch iPhone might bel for $1,024. It iss significant to note that these above mentioned prices are unsubsidized prices. If you opt to buy the phone on a two-year carrier contract, it will cost much inexpensive.
China Unicom also hinted that the 4.7-inch iPhone will be iPhone 6, while the larger version will be called the iPhone 6 Pro. It appears unusual that a pre-order folio would highlight minute additions like the front-facing camera, rather than accentuate new features coming with iOS 8, such as Health-Kit incorporation. There is also no mention of the much-rumoured NFC functionality. We won’t really know anything for sure until Apple officially releases the much awaited iPhone 6 next week.
